The “Literary Microblogging” Project

I have lots written in my journal, but not much of it is useful for the current project. I want to write some entries that are no longer than 100-300 words on epigrams or parts of lyrics and poems. The idea is for people to take a thought or fragment with them to work and have it in the back of their heads to chew on later.

These entries will be marked by the use of the “epigraph” feature on my blog. A quote should stand high above the post itself, as in “like transparent glass” or “Beauty’s just another word I’m never certain how to spell.”

I will continue, of course, to create longer essays and more detailed commentary. I’m just thinking how nice it would be to have something out there that’s like a keepsake if done right. I’m still a long way from pulling that off, but we’ll see how this turns out over time.

Any ideas for quotes or thoughts I should cover are welcome.
