A few things in Plato’s Gorgias have emerged that relate directly to Xenophon’s corpus. Of particular note is the mention of “kalos kai agathos” (noble/beautiful and good, the definition of a perfect gentleman) at 470e. This has me wondering to what degree I should be attentive to rhetoric as a general theme of Xenophon’s work.
