I am a graduate student in political science at the University of Dallas who thinks the media is dumb for the most part, yet am immersed myself. I am looking to break my addiction, and this blog is part of the solution: Why not try to see what the past can tell us about the present, as opposed to seeing what the present has to say about the present only?

1. If you've ever wondered why some authors were forced down your throat in high school, I've wondered that a lot myself, and learned a lot from them in the process.
2. In addition to bad grammar, you make errors both historical and logical.2. I actually think that's a strength. I'm not publishing papers because I'd like to read with people who have real concern for the text first. There's no advantage to reading together if I already know everything.
3. I like what you write, but my eyes are getting tired.3. If you subscribe via e-mail or feed reader, the entries look a lot better and are printable. I'll be putting a print option up soon.
