Happy Easter!

Going off to sing the Easter Vigil at Cistercian Abbey – hope everyone has a happy Easter, and if I didn’t greet you with this personally, it certainly wasn’t out of neglect. I can safely say I’m pretty preoccupied here.

Lauridsen, “O Magnum Mysterium” – for those of you who haven’t heard it, its rich chromatism makes it the closest thing to tenderness in music I’ve heard.

1. If you've ever wondered why some authors were forced down your throat in high school, I've wondered that a lot myself, and learned a lot from them in the process.
