I believe the 12 trillion is the debt owed to the federal reserve which is owed to other holders of government bonds (mainly the Chinese and Japanese who hold about half of the total I think). The real problem is the over 100 trillion “owed” due to liabilities under government programs. The pensions owed to our soon to be retired baby boomers is not going to help this debt either. If health care reform passes the near trillion dollars it’s estimated to cost would go under the latter debt.

Even my sister, who is not so politically inclined, brings up the travesties that the Obama administration is wreaking on our lives. Even the Chinese Communists are scolding him to stop spending!!! Is that a joke?

The so-called “mainstream” media has lost all credibility in the minds of thinking persons.

The burden is now on bloggers and citizen journalists to see to it that the truth gets out there.

Many thanks to the author of this blog for doing his or her part to ensure that the truth is written down on record.

The history books of the future will draw more from the likes of bloggers such as yourself than the once-credible news organizations that at one point offered accurate accounts of current events.

“The National Debt has increased about $1.6 trillion on Mr. Obama’s watch, though less than $4.9 trillion run up during the presidency of George W. Bush”
