- This is old – from 2003 – but might be useful for some of you. Now that there are all sorts of nutcases coming out of the woodwork, I’ve seen a number of conservatives and libertarians say that we don’t need tort reform, and therefore – by implication – are arguing that we don’t have too many lawyers. If you run into one of these people, there’s a really good article at Reason that makes the case that courts aren’t markets, for anyone that needs to be convinced of this.
