- Taliban: The Movie – in case you needed to know how brutal the Taliban are, a discussion of that video of a 17 year old being beaten for “adultery.”
- Atheist rips Bill Maher’s Religulous: fta – Without even a whiff of irony – and I am not making this up – Maher concludes the film by giving a sermon on a mount in Jerusalem in which he talks about climate change and war and terrorism and religious craziness, and says that as a result of these things ‘the world could actually come to an end’.

I really found the link to that article on Maher interesting. This ‘New Age’ stuff seems to be the inverse of the old atheism though, doesn’t it? I always thought Christianity relied upon humility and Darwin’s crowd celebrated man, not the other way around.
