- First Friday in Philadelphia was pretty terrible, with plenty of ice on the ground making walking a chore where one needed to walk. Still, Artists’ House had good stuff: David Palumbo’s portraiture had rich, vibrant detail and was charming in a playful way. Lauren Tilden’s very painterly style evoked the masters – “Portrait in Blue of K. Austin” is worth staring at for a bit.
