- Might be out of date regarding the financial crisis, but some speculation on where everything is headed in terms of a regulatory environment.
- Aggressive and pervasive panhandling is a very real problem in cities all across the US.
- Gotta love the 1st Amendment – someone can break into your e-mail, and if the contents are displayed by a third party with no other apparent connection to that “someone,” the person publishing all your info is completely protected from any prosecution.
- I’ll let you make what you want of this. The only thing I’ll say is that this probably would be absolutely harmless, if it weren’t perceived as part of a pattern.
About the panhandlers..
I’ve always been one who would give people small amounts of cash if they asked, assuming I had any at the time. But unfortunately, it is a safety issue. I feel bad for avoiding people or being frightful when they come up to me, but at the same time, how do I know what their motives are?
For example, a week ago, two guys pulled up in a new Ford F-150, asking for money for food. I didn’t have any cash on me, and at that, they said I could hop in the truck with them and use my card. It was very disconcerting.
