We're all insecure and seek attention. We promote ourselves to recieve attention in everything we do. Work, friendships, relationships, etc. The kind of attention we seek differs, and is determined by our motives. Do we seek attention, so we can learn to grow beyond our insecurities, or so we can cover them up, and bury them under fan fare and popularity? We are social creatures. Social interaction is how we grow and learn. It's also how we can control and manipulate. The words we speak will eventually reveal our hearts. In you, I sense a genuine interest in learning.
