Josh has stated that since the next President can’t be Bush, then whoever it is will be treated better.

My own position is that if we’re politically serious, then we need to prepare and prevent the abuse of whomever may be President. If Hillary becomes President, I may disagree with her, but I will not be frothing at the mouth trying to advance Articles of Impeachment every 5 seconds.

I want your thoughts and comments on this issue, esp. in light of all this crappy and shallow Iowa analysis that I look at as inherently degrading politics. We can talk about more serious issues, i.e. “Is there a principle on the Right that makes it not as rabid as the Left, if a Democrat wins?” etc.

Comments below probably won’t be moderated at all, say whatever, including “Cowabunga.”

I suck at spelling too. If you’re interested in where the discussion on this thread is, check out the Digg comment thread where the debate is between “this sort of abuse has been dished out before” and “something is unique about what’s happened to Bush, but we’re not sure what.”

What would I do without you?

    This is delightful.
