Suggestions Welcome

Don’t wake me, I plan on sleeping.

- The Postal Service, “Sleeping In”

I was supposed to have essays for y’all on Descartes and Othello – that was supposed to happen in September. Boy did that not happen.

Before that, there were supposed to be essays on Bacon, Romeo and Juliet, Rashomon, and Shakespeare’s Sonnets. That hasn’t happened either, and now that I think about it, I probably do need to get more essays on Aristotle’s Ethics together.

Anyway, this is just for suggestions in case anyone has them.

I just stumbled across your blog when I was directed to your May 18 post on “The Relevance Of Thucydides”.

I completely concur with your “About Me” comment that “the past can tell us about the present”.

This comment strikes me because when we started Bookyards …. one of the webs first online libraries …. my premise for doing the library was to bring the past in the form of books to the web audience. The following link to one of my blog posts on climate change illustrates what I am talking about.

It is good to read how others think the same way.

    You have an excellent blog.
