One would think the light is an opportunity, and that the outdoors should be reveled in. This would be true if it weren’t for the intensity of the light.
It isn’t as if the light does no good. Rain will fall and green plants will rise. But the opportunity for us is not immediate.
Even in what seems opportune, we have to wait. It’s a strange lesson, especially since we’ve been taught that we can always make what we want out of our own lives, as if climate never mattered.
